This weekend was a great weekend, craft ways, much to my husband's dismay!

West Auckland had their craft show, and SENZ was on in Manukau City.

Now you cannot go to ANY craft show, and not spend any money - it's just not doable. :)

At Craft Out West, it was a real mix of crafts - quilting, chocolate, cake decorating (very impressive!), manuka honey, beads, fairy bubble wands, hair braiding amongst the variety, and of course - scrapbooking. Caz Designs were there, and Megan from Better Scrapbooking - she was demonstrating the Making Memories Slice machine and the Zutter Bind-it-All.

At SENZ, which is a yearly event there was sooooooo many retailers - both from retail shops (Hastings Rubber Stamps, Create) online outlets (Crafty Tart, Scrapbookers Delight) and home based party plans (Stampin Up!, Creative Memories).

I managed to get new (for me) goodies including papers from Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, October Afternoon, and some stamps, bling and a new cuttlebug embossing folder:

...can't wait till I sit down and play with my new goodies!

I enjoyed both shows, definately would go again, although I would like to see more retailers/variety at SENZ next year.

until next time,

Well, I bit the bullet, jumped in with both feet, grabbed the bull by both horns, took the plunge...and all those other cliches.... and created a blog!

I am NOT a demo for any company

I am NOT associated with any companies in any way, shape or form

I am NOT on any design teams

I am NOT a published cardmaker/scrapbooker

I AM however, someone who enjoys playing and creating with cardstock, patterned paper, glue, photos and other bits and bobs. I enjoy making cards, and scrapping my photos.

I am not a perfect, fantastic, overly creative designer, however, there are some cards I like...and I have no one to show them off to....DH just looks and grunts! If you like my cards, then feel free to post a comment, if you don't like my cards, feel free to let me know - all and any constructive comments will be and are appreciated!
